What is Ecu Remapping?
At ECU Remaps, we specialise in ECU tuning for agricultural and heavy equipment, including tractors, harvesters, sprayers, construction machinery, forestry equipment, and road going commercial vehicles. Our custom tuning solutions are designed to improve engine performance in a safe, cost-effective way—helping you get more done with less.
ECU tuning involves recalibrating your engine control unit (ECU) to unlock more horsepower and torque. For farmers and contractors, this means getting your equipment to cover more acres or complete more work in less time—ultimately saving thousands in fuel, labour, equipment wear, and operational downtime every season.
As equipment owners and operators ourselves, we understand how critical efficiency is during peak times. That’s why every tune we deliver is customised to your specific machine. We adjust fuel tables to increase injection duration, allowing your engine to deliver the precise amount of fuel needed to safely boost power.

All modifications are done through a safe, software-based ECU reflash, keeping your machinery compliant while enhancing its capability.

As a general rule of thumb, we typically achieve up to 20% more horsepower over stock. Some machines can handle even more, while others may require a more conservative tune to remain within safe limits. Many machines have the same engine across several factory HP models so it maybe more cost effective to purchase the smaller HP factory model and upgrade with an ECU REMAPS tune.
Is Tuning Safe for My Machine?
Yes—when done correctly and responsibly. We always tune within the mechanical limits of each machine to ensure long-term reliability under the harshest operating conditions.
However, it's important to understand that tuning increases power output, which can place additional stress on drivetrain components. This makes timely maintenance more important than ever—whether stock or tuned.

Do you service my area?
ECU Remaps is proudly based near Toowoomba, Queensland, and we offer a fully mobile tuning service. Our standard service area covers a wide arc—up to 400km from Toowoomba, including coastal regions. Most jobs within this radius can be completed as day trips with no additional travel fees.
Typical service time is 2 to 4 hours onsite.
If you're located outside our typical range, we’re still more than happy to service your equipment. In these cases, travel expenses may apply, but we do our best to keep costs down for everyone.
One great way to save is to book multiple remaps in one trip. Whether it's tuning two of your own machines or teaming up with a neighbour, we’ll split travel costs across all jobs. The more machines we can remap in one visit, the better value for everyone involved.
